Topics at Twelve: Miami Township – A Look Into the Future
Miami Township – A Look into Future
• What’s Happening in the Newly Adopted 2023 Land Use Plan
• Sneak Peeks at New Developments & Township Projects
Miami Township is the sixth-largest township in the state of Ohio, with a population of 44,000 in an area covering 33 square miles. It is also home to a wide variety of businesses, ranging from offices to manufacturing to services.
This large an area naturally means there are diverse needs in different sections of the Township. To address these, Township administration and elected officials have closely evaluated the unique demands of commercial, residential, and park areas, developing plans to address current and future requirements to keep the Township strong and vital.
Join Township Administrator Jeff Wright and Planning & Zoning Administrator Brian Elliff as they share the vision for continuing Miami Township’s success through the next decade. They will explain specific plans for various areas, including the Rt. 28 Corridor, Rt 131, and other areas; examine the balance between commercial and residential sectors and how each will be supported; and describe park improvements that have already been implemented and those in the works for the future.
Lunch is available for $15, or feel free to bring your own lunch. Water will be provided.
